In a bid to enhance the preservation and scientific administration of Jiuzhai Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Sichuan Province, China has inaugurated a new research center. This facility is set to prioritize the prevention of geological hazards, restoration efforts following earthquakes, and the conservation of the valley’s distinctive travertine landscapes and aquatic ecosystems.
