China Airlines has expanded its flight services to include a new daily route between Taichung, Taiwan, and Okinawa, Japan. This addition is part of the airline’s continued effort to enhance its presence in Japan, now offering over 170 round-trip flights weekly between the two countries. The service is operated using the modern Airbus A321neo aircraft, with flight CI310 departing Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and reaching Okinawa by 12:40 p.m. The return leg, flight CI311, takes off from Okinawa at 1:40 p.m. and lands back in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.
Aiming to further boost this connection, China Airlines has scheduled a second daily service set to begin on August 13. This new service, flight CI312, will take off from Taichung at 3:20 p.m., arriving in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. Passengers can return on flight CI313, which departs Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and arrives in Taichung by 7:30 p.m. With these additions, the airline will be operating approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week, significantly enhancing travel convenience for both business and leisure travelers.
The introduction of these new flight paths underscores China Airlines’ commitment to strengthening travel links between Taiwan and Japan. The airline already operates numerous flights from other Taiwanese cities, such as Taipei and Kaohsiung, to various destinations in Japan.
