Reaffirming the “one country, two systems” policy, Xi expressed continued support for Hong Kong and Macao’s integration into China’s broader development strategy. He also addressed the situation with Taiwan, advocating for deeper cross-Strait exchanges and cooperation. Xi voiced opposition to “Taiwan independence” and external interference, emphasizing efforts toward peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.
On the international front, Xi stated that China would maintain its independent foreign policy of peace. He underscored the nation’s commitment to fostering a global community with a shared future for humanity, signaling China’s intent to engage constructively on the world stage.
